RedMosquito are proud to celebrate our 21st Anniversary this year. The company was founded in 1999, at the turn of the millennium. An exciting time for technology as the internet began to change the world. Businesses seized the efficiencies technology brought and RedMosquito was launched to meet the growing demand for IT Services & Support for SMEs. The technology sector has advanced rapidly during this time and this growth and success has been mirrored by RedMosquito.
HP (Hewlett Packard) was famously launched in Packard’s garage. RedMosquito had similar humble beginnings with the company starting out in small, single room premises in Kirkintilloch. Packard’s garage is now a designated California Historical Landmark. While RedMosquito can’t boast the same feat, we have moved premises 4 times over the following years! We are now located in large 3000 sq. foot Operations Centre in Glasgow. The company has grown to a team of 20 staff who support an impressive portfolio of businesses, primarily located across the central belt of Scotland. We work with a range of industries including legal services, manufacturing and construction & engineering. Some of our very first customers are still with us and we are proud to have provided them with decades of high quality support.

It is interesting to note some of the global IT giants who share the 21st Anniversary – Salesforce was also founded in 1999 and Microsoft acquired Access in the same year. Some big product releases include Nvidia Corp. introducing the GPU and GeForce and RIM releasing the BlackBerry. Technology is a rapidly changing sector and many of the issues and concerns our customers face have changed dramatically during that time. We can all remember Y2K being a major concern, with businesses worried about the implications of the date change at the millennium, on systems, not designed with that in mind. We have supported our customers through those concerns and many others over the years, including the current pandemic.
We have celebrated our 21st Anniversary with the launch of our new website and branding. We are delighted to have enjoyed another great year of success, with a host of new customers joining our ranks.
